This mocktail is a riff on the most classic summer drink of all…one that you’ve been drinking since childhood: lemonade. This one, the whimsically named Fluffy Lemonade, is served at the Apparatus Room in the great city of Detroit. “When designing a mocktail recipe, I always focus on simplicity and uniqueness to really present a surprising effect for the palette,” says lead bartender Petr Balcarovsky. These ingredients “offer simplicity, yet bring a full mouthfeel which may resemble an experience of an Italian cream soda, or a citrus-sicle, with a balanced amount of richness…while the garnish of a thyme sprig brings subtle herbal notes to the nose. Enjoy!”
