Boozy Lemonade with a Sake Twist!
Learn how to make this elevated, alcoholic take on the summertime staple
You mighta sipped on some lemonade bought from your nephew’s stand this summer…but you probably haven’t had a version like this: an elevated, boozy twist that uses bourbon and sake. “I wanted to create a sake-based cocktail that would pair well with a summer barbecue,” says Jenifer Van Nortwick from Sake ONO. “Seldom do people think about putting those flavors together, and I thought having just a hint of bourbon, fresh lemon juice and club soda would help cut through the richness of the food.” A bright, sunny drink for the brightest, sunniest season.
